What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catcher/General Help (Full-time) - Day Shift position at Nestlé Health Science?
This position is for 1st shift; Monday-Thursday 4:00am-2:30pm.
The Catcher is responsible for packing at the end of the packaging line as well as helping in the cleaning and set-up of the line. This role is also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures that the packaging line runs productively following all Packaging Operations SOPs and cGMPs
- Completes appropriate paperwork
- Monitors product from the line for accuracy and ensures proper packing procedure is utilized for shipment
- Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance
- Follows safety rules, SOP’s and cGMP guidelines
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
SKILLS:
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Basic mathematical skills
- Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions
- Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc… within a manufacturing environment
