Position Summary
As the Quality Technician, you will perform a variety of tasks. You will lead the factory in ensuring that all quality operations aspects are in place and high functioning including, but not limited to product integrity, net contents, and sensory program. You will also be responsible for ensuring all non-conforming finished product is placed on quality hold to prevent shipment to our customers. You will regularly interact with Production, Maintenance, and Product Safety. Quality and safety are the promises we make on every bag, container, tub, and can – and we continue to deliver on that promise.
Requirements
The approximate pay range for this position is $39,000 to $57,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location. - Interact extensively with the operations group and influence, coach, and train all other factory personnel with regards to QA requirements and expectations
- Responsible for the proper use and maintenance of lab equipment including the maintenance, cleaning, and calibration
- Work as a team with other lab associates to achieve shift, department, and factory objectives
- Assist in preparation for compliance audits
- Be a technical expert for factory process and equipment
- Oversee and ensure finished product specifications are maintained and updated as necessary
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 years work experience in Quality Assurance in manufacturing, lab, military, or related environment
- Willing and able to work an overnight shift (6 PM - 6 AM) on a 2/2/3, 12-hour schedule
- Experience with food safety within manufacturing preferred
- Experience in a quality lab environment preferred
