As an Assistant Digital Product Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our digital product roadmap, enabling seamless delivery of Petivity products and consumer-facing pet health reports. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams of developers, UX designers, UX researchers, and data analysts to lead the long-term strategy and discovery of a comprehensive consumer engagement portal across all Petivity products. Whether it’s streamlining backend processes, coordinating frontend enhancements, or managing stakeholder expectations, you’ll work closely with to ensure our digital ecosystem meets the needs of both internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Lead discovery efforts to gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements, collaborating with the solution owner to translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria
- Own and manage the product backlog, effectively prioritizing and communicating requirements to drive iterative delivery
- Act as a central point of contact between stakeholders, UX, developers, and cross-platform teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment
- Drive stakeholder engagement, ensuring expectations are well-managed, and progress is visible throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversee the successful execution of backend and frontend development projects, balancing technical feasibility with user experience goals
- Monitor and measure project success using key performance indicators, providing insights to optimize product strategy
- Apply innovation methodologies (Agile, Lean, Design Thinking) and data-based insights to make strategic, data-driven recommendations for what should – and should not – be included in MVP and what could be a fast follow
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- 3 years of experience working with digital product teams in a Product Owner and/or Business Analyst capacity
- 1 years of experience leading both backend and frontend development projects
Other
- Demonstrated experience with stakeholder communication and cross-functional team leadership is preferred
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred
- Experience managing website development and cross-platform integration projects/products is preferred
- Knowledge of API-driven development and content management workflows is preferred
- Previous experience in the pet or health industries is preferred

The approximate pay range for this position is $93,000 to $125,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
