Position Summary
At Nestlé Purina PetCare, we’re a “safety first” culture, driven by a zero accident, zero defect, zero waste mentality. As a Quality Supervisor, you will be responsible for development, management, compliance, on-going sustainability and continuous improvement for the factory’s product safety and food safety programs to assure all products are manufactured, packaged, stored and shipped under safe and wholesome conditions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze consumption, escalation, and hold management processes.
- Troubleshoot quality-related issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Document deviations and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems (QMS) and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and improve processes.
Basic Qualifications
Education: Bachelors of Science in food science, biology, chemistry, or related field OR High School Diploma/GED & 3 years of experience with food safety or quality assurance in a lab environment, food manufacturing, industrial facility, military, or related field
Experience: 1 supervisor experience working with food safety or quality assurance in a lab environment, food manufacturing, industrial facility, military, or related field
The approximate pay range for this position is $67,000 to $90,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
