POSITION SUMMARY

Rooted in a rich railroad heritage, Hager City is one of our two factories in Wisconsin—located across the Mississippi River from Red Wing, Minnesota and about 250 miles from our location in Jefferson. Over 50 dedicated associates come together to produce wet and dry coatings for our pet food brands nationwide, making this location truly special. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for the maintenance of all plant systems, which will include facilities, unloading, processing, packing and warehouse operations. You will troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment. Working in a safe manner at all times, you will work in a climate controlled maintenance shop and play a major role in machine reliability and process improvements across the plant.

Starting pay is $33.85/hr with a Maintenance Progression Plan that provides for increasing wages up to $40.60/hr, based on knowledge/skill demonstration and performance reviews.

This position will work 7pm-7am and every other weekend.

As a full-time Industrial Maintenance Technician you will be eligible for the Nestlé 401K Savings Plan with company-matched contributions (up to a limit) to help you save for retirement. • Maintenance of plant systems: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation.
• Electrical work with 120, 220, and 480 volt.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls systems including motors and PLCs.
• Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators.
• Repair gear reducers, belt and screw conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipment.
• Maintain wastewater system, boiler operations, cooling towers, and general building needs.
• Complete predictive maintenance such as vibration analysis and oil sample collection.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and 1 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment

OR

• Vocational certificate in Mechatronics

OR

• 2 year technical degree completed

The approximate hourly pay rate for this position is $33.85 per hour including a shift differential for night shifts. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
