We have a factory in Crete, Nebraska, one of the largest manufacturers in the area and a leading wet pet food manufacturing facility in the U.S. Our team produces over 1,000 tons of pet food per day under renowned brands such as Alpo, Nestlé Purina ONE, Pro Plan, Friskies, and Nestlé Purina Veterinary Diets. As Maintenance Supervisor (Facilities), you will oversee teams responsible for maintenance of water distribution systems, wastewater treatment, boilers, air compressors, building infrastructure, and grounds. You will spearhead programs, provide engaging training on procedures, respond to emergencies, and ensure a safe and compliant environment. Your role will contribute to fostering a positive workplace culture by maintaining employee records related to time, attendance, training, and more, ultimately driving an engaged and high-performing team.
**Schedule:** 7:00 am – 3:00 pm CST (overtime and weekend work may be required)
You will supervise facilities personnel in their performance, procurement of parts and materials, and ensure all duties are performed safely while adhering to safety rules and policies. You will utilize the SAP AMM maintenance management system to look up parts, inventory, work orders, and view maintenance plans. Additionally, you will be accountable for complying with applicable governmental regulations, including EPA, FDA, and OSHA requirements. You will maintain accurate records of maintenance shift reports and complete all assigned work. You will also fill in for the maintenance scheduler, uphold hourly work requirements by designated zones, conduct weekly meetings, and maintain records.
**Requirements:**
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* 3 years of experience in facilities or utilities maintenance in a manufacturing, industrial, production, or military environment
* 1 year of people leadership experience
