Our factory in Crete, Nebraska stands as one of the largest manufacturers in the area and one of the largest wet pet food manufacturing facilities in the U.S. Together, we proudly produce over one thousand tons of pet food per day, including renowned brands such as Alpo®, Nestlé Purina ONE®, Pro Plan®, Friskies®, and Nestlé Purina Veterinary Diets®. Join our team as a Production Scheduling Specialist and manage medium and short-term production schedules for factory lines and two co-packing facilities. You’ll generate raw and packaging material needs while collaborating with materials departments to ensure supply meets demand, updating schedules as necessary.
Sustain weekly and daily production and packaging schedules, as well as minimize supply impacts by utilizing SAP and Excel- Collaborate to ensure optimal plant utilization, high quality, and effective changeovers, considering capital projects and preventative maintenance requirements
- Coordinate with QA on product release timing to prevent customer shortages, revising schedules as necessary
- Develop strategies for covering customer demand and new or renovated product releases and testing
- Build co-packer production schedules, working with co-packer teams and sister factories to ensure execution
- Monitor COF and network inventory, rescheduling production and managing stock movement within the network as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 years of experience in a manufacturing, military or related environment
Other
- 3 years of experience in production scheduling and/or planning
- 3 years of experience with materials, accounting, inventory or production systems
The approximate pay range for this position is $64,000 to $90,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
