POSITION SUMMARY

Since 1969, our factory has been a cornerstone just eight miles west of Harrisburg. Situated at a transportation crossroads, it offers quick access to major cities like Baltimore, Boston, and New York. As one of the largest manufacturers in the area, we produce a wide range of dry pet food, including beloved brands like Puppy Chow®, Pro Plan®, and Friskies®. Beyond our work, we support local animal shelters, enriching the lives of pets everywhere. We’re also doing our part to care for the environment we share, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity and maintaining zero waste for disposal. As Production Supervisor, you are responsible for management of people, quality, safety, planning, output, equipment maintenance and sanitation across your production lines. You will coordinate cross-functionally with other team leads to ensure optimized factory operations and drive continuous improvement efforts. In this lead role, you will establish and foster a culture of accountability and standards that promotes safe, quality behaviors. You will engage, coach and develop individuals to successfully contribute to the achievement of team performance goals.

• Lead and support frontline associates in the production of dry pet food
• Empower and develop team members through coaching, mentoring, training and recognition
• Promote and maintain a culture of standards, emphasizing safety, quality and efficient, sustainable delivery
• Manage the production technician schedule to maximize output while minimizing costs
• Ensure products are produced in compliance with quality key check points and within good manufacturing practices (GMP)
• Utilize problem solving and collaboration skills to reduce downtime, optimize staffing, continuously improve operational efficiency and meet customer demand
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance and warehouse leadership to complete training, repairs and projects

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2 years’ experience working in a manufacturing, military or related environment.
• 1 years’ people leadership experience in a manufacturing, military, or related environment.

The approximate pay range for this position is $63,000 - $92,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
