POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Sr Business Intelligence Analyst, you will work across all of the Supply Chain functions, leveraging data analytics to help determine and execute the best possible end-to-end business decisions. Your objectives focus on providing strategic insights, developing analytical tools to be integrated with the operational teams, and providing strategic recommendations to support reporting and analysis. Responsibilities will include developing Business Intelligence Solutions that aid in identifying and recommending opportunities to drive operational efficiency, balance cost vs service, and simplify executional complexity. To achieve these objectives, you will be responsible for researching, developing, and implementing advanced Business Intelligence solutions and cutting-edge reporting tools. With an internal consultant approach, you will participate in identifying opportunities, collecting information, developing business requirements, performing data analysis, and generating and implementing innovative and sustainable solutions to address business needs and priorities. Ongoing alignment and engagement across our stakeholder base at various levels to capture feedback for continuous improvement1.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop advanced Business Intelligence Solutions from use case concept to experimental design to industrialization/deployment to end users.
- Provide visibility across total Supply Chain with embedded analytics that support both strategic and operational decision making throughout the end users’ daily functions.
- Design and create analytical tools and dashboards to support functional KPI’s, targeted insights, and functional requests.
- Analyze large amounts of detailed historical and forecast data to support key performance measures and operational decision support.
- Collect, cleanse, and understand complex data to identify more accurate ways of reporting, analyzing, and communicating opportunities.
- Manage Special Projects, Pilots, Proof of Concepts, and Ad-hoc project work.
- Participate in the evaluation, intake, design, and integration strategy between multiple Supply Chain functions and data sources for varying Nestlé businesses.
- Conduct proper stakeholder management to ensure all parties are aligned and updated throughout project life cycle.
- Develop professional presentations and project status reporting appropriate for their intended audience.
- Present solutions and recommendations to all levels of leadership.
- Improve stakeholder awareness and acumen with our BI solutions.
- An undergraduate degree in statistics, mathematics, analytics, engineering, business or related discipline is required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in analytical capacity with demonstrated experience applying to industry problems.
- Proven experience with implementing diagnostic analytics for complex operational and management problems.
- Proven experience in providing Business Intelligence Solutions within a Supply Chain domain is highly preferred.
- Understanding of the consumer products industry and/or Nestlé is a plus.
- Analytical Expertise: Demonstrated experience with advanced analytics tools, including statistical analysis with a strong preference for intermediate to advanced analytical skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced understanding of data modeling, data management, data visualization, and programming practices
- Tools: Experience leveraging Power BI/Tableau, Synapse Serverless (SSMS) is required. Experience working with technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Azure DevOps is preferred
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in DAX and T SQL is required. Knowledge of Python/R, or similar transferrable programming languages is preferred
- Collaboration and Influence: Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment and influence senior leadership through data-driven insights.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities to articulate complex problems, processes, tools, data, and insights effectively.
- Innovative Thinking: Ability to propose and implement strategies and solutions that challenge the status quo and enhance current operational practices.
