POSITION SUMMARY Provide professional engineering and strategic technical leadership in the Factory, ensuring people health and safety, product safety and environment are never compromised. Strategic leader for engineering function, leveraging Nestle's leadership principles in the following areas : capital execution, asset maintenance and utilities excellence, engineering compliance, and sustainability.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
People
- Live Nestle leadership principles in all aspects of the role.
- Set the technical strategic vision for the factory, leveraging other functional leaders and cascade objectives to all leaders in engineering department, within factory cost targets.
- Develop and maintain technical competencies at the factory, including detailed action plans, accountability to progress, talent review, career and succession planning.

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL LEVEL :
SKILLS :
Understanding of financial analysis and relevant business drivers such as Nestl Standard Costing, Asset and Maintenance Management, CAPEX budgeting and preparation.
TPM / continuous improvement process development, preferred
AutoCAD view, AMM, etc.
Strong technical and managerial skills.
In-depth knowledge of food processing plant and technology.
Maintenance technologies.
Operation of utilities.
Knowledge of food safety, regulatory requirements for food safety and hygienic engineering (OSH&R).
Analytical skills in problem solving.
Communication and networking.
Understanding of financial analysis and relevant business drivers.
Nestl Standard Costing.
Asset and Maintenance Management (AMM).
CAPEX budgeting and preparation (CIAT).
Project Engineering / Management - Plant Design & Construction.
Industrial Services and Energy Management (NEMT).
The approximate pay range for this position is $150,000 to $175,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
