POSITION SUMMARY
Just 65 miles from Center City Philadelphia, Allentown is near many major Northeastern U.S. cities, which makes it an ideal location for manufacturing and distributing consumer goods. We utilize thermal processing and high-speed canning to produce varieties of our Friskies®, Beneful® and Pro Plan® brands-product lines that we have carefully produced, packaged, and shipped since 1958. Together, we contribute to Allentown's identity as a busy industrial city, as well as a beautiful rural environment that we are truly proud to call home. That's why we not only make high quality food for pets but our factory is also doing our part to care for the environment we share, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity and maintaining zero waste for disposal.
As a Maintenance Manager, you'll manage, lead, and coordinate activities of your team to maximize performance, minimize costs, maintain quality, and endorse safety & operating standards. By coaching, training, and developing your team members, you'll lead your team to achieve continuous improvement and / or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives while maintaining daily maintenance projects, preventative maintenance, and repair work. Leadership through safety is a paramount requirement of this position, and execution of proper leadership techniques to manage difficult situations with the highest regard of the safety and wellbeing of all our employees is critical.
- Lead and oversee all maintenance support to factory operational equipment, as well as general facility maintenance.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of the maintenance department to maintain equipment at the highest practical level through continuous improvement of the maintenance systems.
- Manage key performance indicators of the planning and scheduling routine and lead the department to administer the work order management system.
- Oversee maintenance technical store workgroup and storeroom activities to ensure acceptable inventory level and technical spares are managed appropriately.
- Work with team members to develop the most cost-effective repair strategies and manage maintenance spending responsibilities to achieve factory maintenance budget.
- Execute and manage capital projects for new factory equipment with guidance from leadership team.

The approximate pay range for this position is $89,000 to $146,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
