Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.
Under the direction of the Manager / Supervisor / Lead Person, the Porter is responsible for keeping premises in clean and orderly condition. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and / or Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.
Schedule : 1st Shift, 6 : 00am - 2 : 30pm (Monday through Friday)
Responsibilities :
- Cleans warehouse, offices, hallways, lobby, break room, rest rooms, corridors and other work areas
- Empties trash containers and transports waste to disposal area
- Replenishes bathroom and break room supplies
- Keeps walkways clean
- May perform light maintenance
- May operate shredder
- May operate baler
- Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance
- Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and / or cGMP guidelines
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area
- Performs other duties as assigned
