Produce Manager – Fresh Produce Leader

Position Summary:
As a Produce Manager, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the produce department, ensuring that our customers enjoy fresh, high-quality fruits and vegetables. You will manage stock levels, train employees, and ensure top-notch customer service while maintaining the department’s organization and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Management: Ensure fresh produce is fully stocked, rotated, and properly displayed to highlight quality and variety.
• Team Leadership: Train, supervise, and develop a team of associates to ensure smooth department operations and excellent customer service.
• Stocking & Display: Oversee receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, and setting up attractive displays that highlight product abundance.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional service, resolve customer issues, and ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
• Operations Management: Maintain knowledge of produce operations, oversee inventory control, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Safety & Sanitation: Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with all safety and sanitation standards.
• Vendor Liaison: Work closely with vendors to ensure product availability and quality.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2 years managing produce or similar retail department.
• Skills: Strong leadership, organizational skills, and knowledge of produce operations.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Customer-Focused: Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Team Player: Ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment.

Pay Rate:

• $36,400 – $63,400 per year (negotiable based on experience)

Locations Available:

• 1 opening in Queens: 97-10 Queens Blvd., Rego Park, NY 11235
• 5 openings in Brooklyn at different locations
