JOB OVERVIEW
While maintaining the strategic goals set forth by the Implementation & Training Department, the Implementation Specialist II will via voice calls, email, and chat facilitate client education, workflow re-design, and on-site training with new and existing clients, for a successful implementation and go-live.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Serve as a training point of contact for designated group of new, small to mid-sized clients.
- Participate in initial Client Kick-Off Calls, conduct online trainings, and assist the client in creation of their workflows to correlate with end-user training.
- Analyze facility operations and processes to design the most efficient clinical workflow and training plan with the utilization of pre-live implementation forms.
- Dependent upon product line, provide onsite and advanced training support utilizing a customized training agenda and curriculum materials. Training support may be virtual, classroom, and/or onsite shadowing as defined in client contracts.
- Uses clinical workflow knowledge and independent judgement in software training curriculum and provide basic troubleshooting knowledge.
- Provide education and training to the facility admin team members to support their own team on an ongoing basis and ongoing product maintenance.
- Work with client and/or PM to ensure configuration of database is completed prior to end-user training.
- Post go-live, assist clinicians/providers with application and workflow questions, prior to transition to support.
- Provide go-live support to clients.
- Complete/Sign Certificate of Training Completion Document and Site Visit report within one week of post implementation, as required.
- Maintain education and on-going learning relative to new releases/versions of the product.
- Contribute and assist with development of client education and departmental training materials.
- Maintain client utilization standard of 80% each week.
- Consistently implement product through education and training resulting in a positive/successful customer implementation experience.
- Organize travel, including booking tickets, securing hotel and rental care accommodations.
- Submit accurate expense reports in a timely manner utilizing the Travel and Entertainment policy, including adhering to the corporate credit card standards.
- Submission of all other client reports within two weeks of go-live.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
- 4 years of relevant work experience, including 2 years of software implementation experience and clinical experience in Wound Care, Occupation or Workplace Health or Rehabilitation.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry required including thorough understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations.
- Understanding of adult learning with the ability to stimulate learner participation and motivation.
- Extensive travel (up to 75% monthly) required as part of normal job duties.
REQUIRED SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE
- Comprehensive knowledge of specialty EMR software products with emphasis on either: Wound Care, Occupational or Workplace Health or Rehabilitation.
