Key Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe audio recordings from depositions, hearings, and various judicial proceedings.
- Produce verbatim transcripts while meticulously adhering to established style guides.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, particularly in understanding complex spoken content, while ensuring the highest quality of written output.
- Collaborate remotely with our supportive in-office team as required.
- Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription is essential.
- Exceptional listening skills with a strong command of grammar and literacy.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and adhere to client-specific style guides.
- Proficient typing speed and accuracy.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and processes.
- Capability to handle sensitive audio/text content (may include challenging material).
