Position: Digital Marketing Specialist

Reports To: CEO

Hourly: $20.00 – $24.00

F.L.S.A Status: Exempt

SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of our online and print marketing efforts. The promotion of products and services through digital and print channels is a complex procedure. Under the general supervision of the owner, the Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the company’s social media, website, and graphic design for print and digital publications. The Digital Marketing Specialist will be a critical component of the Net X Computers Team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things marketing and technology. You will be well-versed in the concepts surrounding digital marketing and how the Internet can become a strong asset to securing growing revenue. You will be tech-savvy and intuitive with great ideas to reinforce our marketing campaign.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide graphic design for print and digital district publications
  • Examples include the company’s services, marketing, digital graphics for social media/website, etc.
  • Manages Companies website
  • Blog, picture, video, content, and page updates.
  • Ensures website is always up-to-date; frequently checks website content for relevancy and accuracy and removes/adds content as needed.
  • Manages companies’ social media
  • Manages social media pages.
  • Produces content for social media pages that keep existing and potential customers, engaged, informed, and excited about Business Technology.
  • Ensures Net X Computers social media platforms are customer service oriented; responds to Current and New Customer inquiries or concerns and assists with connecting them with the appropriate departments to resolve issues.
  • Uses social media management software as needed.
  • Manages Email Marketing System
  • Provides additional marketing support to Sales and Lead Tech administrators when needed.
  • Collects and analyzes digital media metrics to inform the Net X Computers digital media strategy
  • Collaborates with various departments to deliver pertinent messages to various audiences across Web and social media platforms
  • Maintains frequent, strategic discussions with CEO and the departments regarding potential issues with Net X Computers and how to best represent them across Net X Computers web and social media properties
  • Maintains presence at important or newsworthy, jobs, networking, and or team building events to capture photos/footage for social media and/or real-time social media sharing.
  • Stays up-to-date on marketing trends and social media platforms.
  • Performs additional duties as required or assigned by Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S.

Verifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, Graphic Design or related field.

Knowledge & Experience

  • A minimum of one year of writing experience preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, listening and strategic questioning and communication skills
  • Fully capable of meeting deadlines, with the ability to effectively and simultaneously manage and execute multiple projects and priorities.
  • Graphic design skills required.
  • Experience with Wordpress preferred.
  • Experience with managing social media pages preferred.
  • Experience and proficiency in HTML, CSS and software, not limited to: The Adobe Suite, Constant Contact, iMovie, Microsoft Office and content management systems.
  • Proven success at capturing audiences on social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.
  • Can work effectively in both independent and team environments, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees, especially key staff or their representatives.

PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES/DEMANDS

  • Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, hear, see, read, speak, reach, stretch with hands and arms, crouch, kneel, stoop, and climb stairs
  • Occasionally lift and/or move lightweight items up to 40 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work will be at our main office and occasional offsite locations
  • Work may be subject to frequent interruptions
  • Some assignments are subject to completion within strict timelines

Travel for meetings, professional development activities, and work assignments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
