Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage nursing staff to ensure high-quality care delivery in both skilled nursing and assisted living settings.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for residents.
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations regarding nursing care.
- Address and resolve any concerns from residents or families regarding care services.
- Foster a positive, supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and staff retention.
- Mentor and provide professional development opportunities for nursing staff.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care, including assessments and progress notes.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage the nursing department's budget, staffing levels, and resource allocation.
- Maintain open communication with residents, families, staff, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Lead staff training sessions and provide ongoing support for staff development.
- Ensure efficient use of resources while maintaining high standards of care.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of regulations for skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.
- Active (RN) license.
- BLS-AHA
