Job SummaryThe role involves performing nursing care and assisting with planning and implementing care for the comfort and well-being of the patient. Your scope of practice will be dependent and directed, requiring assignment or delegation by and performance under the supervision, orders, or directions of a Registered Nurse (RN). You will also participate in the ongoing assessment of clients, support ongoing data collection, and determine who to inform of the information and when to inform them.
Essential Functions- Perform nursing care and assist with planning and implementing care for the comfort and well-being of the patient.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of patient as delegated by the RN, support ongoing data collection, and determine who to inform and when.
- Conduct assessments as delegated by RN, document and report patient response to treatment and teaching as delegated by RN.
- Adjust priorities of care according to patient needs, collect information regarding patient's biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, and discharge planning needs.
- Promote shared governance by participating in councils or quality improvement groups.
- Model the mission, vision, and values of the organization and adhere to the behavioral standards of the organization.
- BLS - AHA certification
- LPN Licensed Practical Nurse
- Completed High School (Diploma or GED)
