Position Title: Advanced Clinical Pharmacist – BMT
Location: Gainesville, FL
Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (flexible as program evolves)
Position Type: Full-time, Permanent
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to join our BMT and TCT team. This role involves providing expert medication management for patients undergoing Transplant Cellular Therapy (TCT), Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), and CAR-T treatments. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize medication therapy, participate in rounds, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage anti-neoplastic and immunomodulating medications for BMT/TCT patients.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, providing pharmacokinetic and therapeutic consultations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use.
- Lead and contribute to quality improvement projects within the BMT/TCT program.
Qualifications:
- PharmD required.
- Active Florida Pharmacy License.
- Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) preferred.
- Recent experience in oncology, BMT, or TCT (within the past year).
- Hands-on experience with CAR-T or BMT therapies is a must.
