Job Title: Data Conversion Consultant with Oracle Fusion & Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 (Master Data Management)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Data Conversion Analyst with excellent data conversion knowledge. This role is critical in the context of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system migration project, where you will be responsible for extracting and transforming data from our existing Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2/R3 , Hyperion environment and many other sources to prepare it for migration to a new Oracle fusion project.

Your primary focus will be on extracting data from multiple sources, analyze on the functional and technical design document, cleanse data effectively, prepare pre and post validation reports and validate the converted data in Fusion.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Data Extraction:

Develop, learn and execute SQL queries to extract data from Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2/R3 ERP , Hyperion and other external sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and data integrity.

Identify and select relevant data sets for migration based on project requirements and mapping template.

Build reports/SQL queries in Oracle fusion for extraction data for Boundary applications.

Data Transformation:

Transform and cleanse extracted data to meet the format and quality standards required for the Oracle fusion ERP.

Implement data mapping and conversion rules as per the project's specifications.

Data Validation:

Create Pre-validation and Post-validation reports for business validation.

Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure that the extracted data meets the migration criteria.

Identify and rectify any data inconsistencies or anomalies that may arise during the extraction process.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed documentation of the data extraction and transformation processes, including SQL scripts, data mapping, and any data-related issues encountered.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ERP implementation specialists, business analysts, and IT professionals, to understand the migration requirements and coordinate data extraction efforts.

Performance Optimization:

Optimize SQL queries and data extraction processes to enhance performance and minimize downtime during the migration.

Troubleshooting:

Identify and resolve any SQL-related issues or data extraction challenges that may arise during the project.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. 8-10 years of Oracle fusion/Oracle EBS working experience.

3. Should be a techno functional consultant.

4. Has gone through 2-3 full lifecycle data conversion experience in Oracle Fusion/Oracle EBS.

5. Expert level working experience on Oracle fusion technical objects.

6. Must be involved in Oracle Fusion Data conversion and reconciliation activities on previous projects.

7. Good SQL scripting is required.

8. Conversion experience from legacy systems into Oracle fusion and EPBCS.

9. Should have reporting experience in Oracle fusion.

10. Need to have a good understanding on the business tracks like RTR, OTC, SCE, STP, FP&A

11. Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2/R3 scripting experience is a value add.

12. Knowledge in EPBCS will be add on.

13. Experience in building technical and functional design documents.

14. Advance skills in MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

15. Ready to learn new technologies.

16. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

17. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
