What are the top skills required for this role?
- Knowledge of ITIL framework, particularly Event management, Incident management, Problem management and Availability Management
- Familiarity with service level agreements (SLAs) and their impact on availability
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, databases, and applications.
- Proficiency in monitoring tools and technologies
- Generate regular availability reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) like uptime, downtime, mean time to recover (MTTR), and service level compliance.
- Analyze data to identify trends and patterns impacting application availability and propose corrective actions.
- Data analysis skills to interpret system metrics and generate meaningful reports
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

- Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in development or application support or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- In- depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement best practices.
- Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function.

- Ability to solve complex problems by applying best practices.
- Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates.
