Laboratory Supervisor - Full-Time (Days) | No Weekends
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Laboratory Supervisor to join our team and oversee daily operations in our clinical laboratory. This full-time, day shift position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and mentor a talented group of laboratory professionals while ensuring the highest standards of quality, regulatory compliance, and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage technical and non-technical laboratory personnel, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to organizational and regulatory standards.
- Oversee functional areas such as specimen collection, processing, and referral testing, ensuring accurate and timely results.
- Lead department efforts to meet goals in service quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, patient satisfaction, and a healthy work environment.
- Supervise, teach, and motivate staff to foster a positive, collaborative atmosphere within the lab.
- Review and approve payroll, purchasing requisitions, and scheduling requests.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (required).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Medical Technologist.
- Must hold a State of Tennessee Medical Laboratory Supervisor General License (license must be in hand to be considered).
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- No travel required.
