Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN - LTC)

Location: Shenandoah, IA.

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract (Strong Possibility of Extension)

Shift: 6Am-6Pm, 36 Hour Per Week..

Local Pay Range: $39 - $41/ hr.

Available Location: Cedar Rapids, Anamosa, Shenandoah, McGregor, IA.

Job Summary

• We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. As an LPN, you will deliver essential nursing services in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and outpatient facilities. Your role will involve direct patient interaction, ensuring adherence to established standards of care and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  
  

Duties

• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily living activities.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosage and documentation.
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess patient health status and report findings to the supervising nurse or physician.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA standards and facility protocols.
• Utilize electronic health record systems for documentation and communication purposes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong understanding of nursing principles, practices, and standards related to patient care.
  
  

Requirements

• Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• BLS certification.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, nursing equipment and machines, and medications.
