Position: Mainframe developer
Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite)
Type: Contract
Note: Client is primarily looking for assembler development experience.
Skills Required:
10 years of experience required in the following areas:
IBM Mainframe experience
JCL
DB2
Strong SQL Skills
Experience in developing Stored procedures
Strong Assembler programming / debugging skills
COBOL programming language
PL/1 Programming LAnguage
CICS
Good knowledge and hands-on experience on IBM utilities, FileAdi, QMF, SPUFI
Knowledge of DFSORT, Version control tool
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
Independently makes sound, timely and fact-based decisions
Github/ IDz experience
- Microsoft Visio
