Position: SalesForce Commerce Cloud Order Management Specialist

Location: Portland, Oregon in PST time zone otherwise okay to have at another location and should be ready for travel.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Order Management Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the Salesforce Order Management System (OMS) to streamline and optimize the end-to-end order lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of Salesforce Commerce Cloud with other systems and deliver excellent customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

* Order Management Configuration: Configure and implement Salesforce Commerce Cloud Order Management (OMS) to meet business needs, including order fulfillment, inventory management, payment processing, and returns management.

* Customization and Integration: Customize the OMS and integrate it with third-party tools, payment gateways, ERP systems, shipping providers, and other enterprise applications.

* Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize order management workflows, ensuring efficient processing, tracking, and reporting of customer orders.

* Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of order-related system problems.

* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and project managers to gather requirements, develop solutions, and deliver projects on time.

* Data Management: Monitor and manage data related to orders, inventory, and customer accounts to maintain accuracy and compliance.

* Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, user guides, and training materials.

* Compliance and Security: Ensure order management processes comply with relevant regulations and maintain data security standards.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

* Proven experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, particularly the Order Management module.

* Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, capabilities, and tools.

* Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Components, and Salesforce customization.

* Experience with APIs, web services, and third-party system integrations.

* Familiarity with eCommerce platforms, inventory management, and fulfillment processes.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.

* Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

* Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform Developer, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud certifications).

* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.

* Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Trello.

* Familiarity with payment gateways, tax engines, and shipping platforms.
