Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive P&L growth, consultative selling, and strategic expansion within key IT accounts. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of IT services, enterprise sales, and relationship management at the C-level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for growing revenue, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring overall account success.
Key Responsibilities:
P&L Growth & Revenue Expansion
- Own the overall P&L responsibility for assigned accounts, ensuring profitability and revenue growth.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive long-term business growth.
- Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Work closely with finance teams to track revenue, margins, and forecasts.
Consultative Sales & Business Development
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business challenges and aligning IT solutions accordingly.
- Engage in high-value consultative selling, ensuring IT services align with client needs.
- Drive contract renewals, new service adoption, and expansion opportunities.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to define customer-centric solutions and proposals.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, including C-level executives.
- Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention by proactively addressing client concerns.
- Lead onsite review meetings and maintain consistent engagement with clients.
Strategic Account Management & Operations
- Work closely with internal technical architects, practice leads, and offshore teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Participate in contract discussions and negotiations to secure long-term business partnerships.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to enhance brand visibility.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions to clients.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8-10 years of experience in consultative sales, account management, and strategic IT services sales.
- Proven track record of P&L management and revenue growth within IT services organizations.
- Strong ability to engage with complex enterprise accounts and drive strategic business initiatives.
- Experience working with offshore teams and collaborating across global teams.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically (up to 50%) with occasional international travel.
