About the Role
This Electrical Project Manager position plays a vital role in ensuring the safe execution of capital projects and operational projects within the Great Lakes Region.
- Project Engineering: Finalize project design & scope, leveraging technical expertise and regional engineers to ensure all aspects are compliant with company standards and are adequately mitigating identified risks
- Project Execution: Determine resource requirements and identify key stakeholders, develop the execution schedule, and lead the selection of resources required to accomplish project scope
- Scope/Dimensions: Design & execute capital and operational project scopes to ensure operational reliability and safety, provide input into the preparation of Regional operating and capital projects, and develop technical solutions to operational and maintenance issues
- Working Relationships: Regular customer service focused interactions with Area Operations Managers and Operational team members in Great Lakes Region, regular collaborative contact with Project Sponsors, Regional Engineering, Regional Maintenance Services, Environment, Lands, Regulatory Affairs, and Area Operations
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Post-secondary education in engineering or PMP certification preferred; with 4 or more years of previous related experience
- Knowledge of Enbridge Construction Standards and Specifications, as well as Operations and Maintenance Manuals
- Strong ability to solve complex problems and manage various stakeholder interests
- Excellent communication skills and a focus on superior customer service
- Exhibits great interpersonal skills and works effectively in a team environment
- Effective organizational and time management skills in handling multiple projects, performing a variety of tasks, and meeting required deadlines
