Role – SRE Support Engineer / Production support
Location – Austin and Dallas ( Onsite / Hybrid ) ( not open for remote )
Looking for experience in production support for Wealth Management applications built on RESTful APIs with Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate, messaging and streaming technologies (Kafka etc), Angular, HTML, TypeScript and CSS, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, Splunk and AppDynamics with at least one cloud platform. Experience in working in SRE driven integrated application / infrastructure support for automating log analysis, incident detection validation and testing. Preferred Python / Powershell / Bash.
Job description :
- Logging and Monitoring tools like Splunk and AppDynamics
- F5, GTM / LTM, network and routing, no SQL databases and application interaction
- Knowledge of Web technologies : languages, frameworks, techniques, industry trends, etc. that includes .NET or Java.
- Experience in providing support of highly available backend applications / APIs application support.
- Capable of automating log analysis, incident detection validation and testing. Preferred Python / Powershell / Bash
- Experience in troubleshooting / debugging application issues, and determine resolution with various areas, for example : IT Operations, Change Management, Availability, Network team, Server team, Product Management
- Solid understanding of application architecture : application layer, database layer, network layer.
- Experience in working with messaging bus technologies like Kafka
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, geographically dispersed environment.
- Flexibility to support all contingencies and shifting priorities.
- Exposed to CI / CD processes
- Experience in on-call rotation
