Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to provide exceptional care in an acute care environment. This position offers a competitive opportunity to work in a high-volume trauma center with a diverse range of surgeries.
- As a Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting the surgical team by preparing and maintaining sterile fields, ensuring all surgical instruments are available and functioning, and supporting surgeons during various surgical procedures. Strong experience in orthopedic surgeries, including total joint replacements (hips, knees, and shoulders), is essential.
- Set up the operating room with the necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies needed for surgery.
- Assist during surgeries, maintaining a sterile field and providing instruments to the surgical team.
- Work with a variety of surgical specialties, including orthopedic (total joint replacements), general surgery, GYN, spine, and trauma.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during the period of perioperative.
- Sterilize and maintain surgical equipment.
- Follow all infection control protocols and hospital policies.
- Licensed Surgical Technologist in the state of Colorado (DORA) required.
- CST preferred but not required
- BLS certification required
- 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience Davinci XI
- General Surgery (colon resection, hernia, appendectomy)
- including Total Joint Replacements (hips, knees, shoulders)
- Experience with Davinci XI robotic-assisted surgery.
- Must be comfortable in general surgery (colon resection, hernia, appendectomy), GYN, spine, and trauma cases.
Salary : $60 - $64
