About the Job:
As a System Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for developing electrified powertrain concepts, identifying design/development leverage opportunities, optimizing systems through simulation, conducting trade-off analysis using key metrics (performance, TCO, R&D investment), and completing detailed system design activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop electrified powertrain concepts
- Identify design/development leverage opportunities
- Optimize systems through simulation
- Conduct trade-off analysis using key metrics (performance, TCO, R&D investment)
- Complete detailed system design activities
- Support development builds and validation
- Troubleshoot electric powertrain systems to resolve electrical and mechanical component and system challenges
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 10 years of relevant product development experience
- 8 years' experience with an MS or PhD in Engineering
Technical Skills:
- Ability to interrogate existing system schematics and develop new electrical system layouts
- Creation of detailed electrical schematics, leveraging industry and developed standards
- Ability to apply principles of electrical theory to electric powertrain design
- Experience with design and simulation tools/software
