Job: Automotive Test Engineer
Location: Tucson, AZ (onsite full time) – first shift
Duration: 12 months
Pay Rate: $25-$30/hr.
Team/Environment: Focus on supporting a lot of the mining equipment for CAT. They work on everything but large mining trucks. Work with other engineers, technologists, mechanics, instrumentation technicians, operators, and logisticians in a collaborative team environment to complete complex tasks safely, with the highest quality, while meeting project schedules and budgets. Fast Paced environment and will need to withstand weather elements.
Top Skills/Exp:
- Exp w/ Mechanical background – w/ troubleshooting skill within hydraulics would be great. (Canape would be a plus)
- Exp w/ Planning time management.
- Exp w/ software like Excel, Tableau, DATK to analyze test data. (they don’t do a ton in CREO – more MS Office)
- Exp using MS Office applications to create effective technical and communication documents.
(Desired)
- Experience with SuperComm 2, Cadet, Caterpillar Electronic Technician, CANape and electrical system troubleshooting is highly desired.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics, and computer-generated reports
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
- 0-2 years’ experience required.
Salary : $27 - $30
