This role offers the unique opportunity to assist in vascular interventional radiology procedures, providing technical support, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety and compliance with established guidelines.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist physicians during vascular interventional radiology procedures, including arteriograms, embolizations, and drain insertions.
- Operate imaging equipment and ensure proper safety standards are met.
- Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and assist with maintaining supply inventory.
- Serve as a technical resource to the procedural team, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care.
- Participate in departmental Performance Improvement initiatives and provide support for students and residents.
- Perform scrub assistant duties, including controlling guide wires and balloon catheters, and maintaining a sterile field.
