Director of Emergency Services
Location: Fort Worth, TX
We are seeking a highly qualified Director of Emergency Services for a dynamic healthcare facility in Fort Worth, TX. As the Director, you will play a key role in overseeing the Emergency Department's operations, ensuring top-quality patient care, and managing departmental resources to meet organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and resolve real/potential issues affecting service quality and communicate solutions effectively.
- Participate in hospital-wide committees and contribute to ongoing communication initiatives.
- Advance the patient experience agenda in the Emergency Department.
- Mentor, coach, and provide feedback to staff, developing individual performance improvement plans.
- Oversee the Emergency Department's daily operations to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate an emergency services program to guarantee quality patient care.
- Collaborate with the medical director and other key stakeholders for continuous improvements.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of recent, relevant experience in an ED director role within a similar-sized acute care facility.
- Proven track record with metrics and accomplishments listed on the resume; experience mentoring emerging leaders.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Texas.
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS (or ENPC), and BLS required.

- Facility Overview: 117-bed hospital with a Level 3 trauma center aiming for a Level 2 designation.
- Operational Details: Main ED serves 100-120 patients per day, with additional services provided at two freestanding ERs.
