What is the scope of this role?

NetCracker seeks a Marketing Events Specialist/ Marketing Operations Specialist to assist the Marketing department in day-to-day activities, help drive our marketing initiatives and execute outstanding events.

This position would provide the right candidate with an opportunity to learn the inner workings of a corporate technology Marketing department. This role will involve optimizing and streamlining our marketing processes, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our marketing campaigns. This role will also involve planning and implementing all regional events including domestic and international trade shows, road shows, and webinars. You will be responsible for executing global demand generation activity including email campaigns, web seminars and other demand generation events.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Tradeshow/Events
  • Implement, execute and manage marketing projects that support the overall business objectives of the company and global sales.
  • Assist local marketing team with pre-show activities including: exhibitor kit fulfilment; NetCracker staffing for the event and all travel related logistics; collateral selection for the event; coordination of booth shipment and other logistics as needed.
  • Assist with any internal events including: developing agendas in collaboration with sales and marketing stakeholders, researching local venues and vendors, catering, transportation and other logistics as needed.
  • Responsible for the organization of all events, exhibitions and hospitality as per calendar of events agreed within the Marketing Budget and Plans for all business areas. This will include developing project plans with critical analysis dates and providing these reports to the Marketing Director.
  • Source, organize, and manage trade shows and seminars from conception through to on-site management and lead follow-up.
  • Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during events.
  • Prepare post-event reports, including attendance, engagement, and ROI analysis.
  • Provide recommendations for future event improvements and strategies.
  • Sales Engagement
    • Work with Sales and Sales Operations teams to fulfil collateral requests and printing needs for onsite prospect meetings and training events.
    • Ensure alignment on lead generation and lead management processes.
  • Marketing Technology Management and Research
    • Manage and optimize the use of marketing automation platforms (Adobe Marketo Engage).
    • Utilize marketing automation tools and CRM systems to track and manage event registrations and to ensure data quality is accurate and up-to-date.
    • Source relevant databases to target with direct mail and email blasts.
    • Manage mailing campaigns and ensuring fast, effective execution.
  • Manage the creation, design and implementation of results-oriented demand generation programs including writing content for these programs.
  • Data Management and Analysis
    • Maintain and manage the marketing database, ensuring data integrity and cleanliness.
    • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
    • Utilizing the Web to gather information on industry-specific events.
  • Process Improvement
    • Develop and document standard operating procedures for marketing operations.
    • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
  • Collateral
    • Develop promotional materials including invitations, outreach emails campaigns.
    • Oversee collateral inventory (physical and tracking spreadsheet) and alert team to any necessary printing needs and/or giveaway items.
    • Responsible for managing stock of all marketing materials to ensure that a minimum stock quantity is maintained.
    • Work with the Marketing team to gather quotes from local vendors for printing collateral and purchasing promotional items.
    • Manage marketing spend within an assigned budget.
  • Purchase Requisitions/Invoicing
    • Assist the Marketing team with opening new purchase requisitions; help in tracking down invoices for all budgeted items.

Education & Professional Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field required.

Candidate Profile:

  • 2-6 years’ work related marketing experience with high technology products preferred.
  • High degree of organization and capability to manage and administer projects on both a regional and global basis with many internal and external participants.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to work independently and function as a strong team player.
  • Passionate, creative and self-motivating attitude.
  • Knowledge of CRM and Marketo is preferable.
  • Ability to amalgamate information from a variety of sources.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under constant deadline pressure.
  • Flexibility in handling a wide range of activities at any given time.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and capable of handling a high volume of work.
  • Some travel may be required (domestic & international).
