About the opportunity:
NetDocuments is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Collaboration Team. The team is responsible for building Next Generation NetDocuments applications in Microsoft Outlook and Teams. This position will help mature new concepts and ensure that they are executed in a manner where they will be successful in a rapidly evolving web front-end space. The Senior Engineering Manager will report to the Senior Director of Engineering.
What your contributions will be:
- Lead a team of highly experienced Software Engineers.
- Deliver on quarterly OKR commitments that deliver value both internally and for our customers.
- Data leads the way! Leverage data in Azure DevOps, PowerBI and other tools to set your team up for success.
- Partner with Product and Design counterparts.
- Coach your team and partners, delivering clear, timely, and actionable feedback.
- Work side-by-side with key Principal Engineers to produce strategic and scalable solutions.
- Celebrate wins with your team and partners.
- Grow your direct reports into deeper technical resources.
- Stay current on web front-end industry trends and tools.
- Dynamically adjust schedule and assignments based on priority and other considerations.
- Participate in daily/weekly SCRUM ceremonies.
- Coordinate with your Product Owner to appropriately plan work for the upcoming sprints.

What you will need for success:
- 8 years of relevant industry experience in software engineering
- 5 years of people management experience
- 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience delivering large scale, high volume, distributed systems
- 3 years of experience running products in Azure, AWS or GCP public cloud
- Proven experience partnering deeply with Product Management and Product Design to deliver rich customer experiences
- Emotional intelligence for building trust and unity across teams and stakeholders
- Solid experience in Agile delivery methodology
- Experience managing multiple concurrent deliverables
- Worked in a design driven development environment
- Success in team recruitment, retaining and growing engineering teams
- Experience with React, C#, and Docker is strongly preferred
