Location: Remote in North America
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the overall strategy and administration of employee benefit programs in North America, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other related programs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as business leaders, HR, finance, and legal teams, to ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Evaluate and analyze the benefits package to ensure it is both market-competitive and cost-effective. Manage and coordinate the implementation of plan design changes.
- Champion and execute effective communication strategies for employees and manage ongoing and special communication to employees.
- Responsible for managing vendor relationships, and project manages any RFP process and makes recommendations if relationship changes are required.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure benefits programs remain competitive and compliant.
- Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for program enhancements and cost savings.
Qualifications:
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment requiring agility to meet changes in business demands.
- Excellent communication skills focusing on customer experience and team collaboration with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong analytical skills, understanding of retirement and benefit concepts, and problem-solving skills to assess, identify problems, and develop corrective procedures.
- Proven project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, "hands-on" environment.
- Advanced Excel skills and Workday knowledge are required.
- 8-10 years of directly related work experience with a strong background in design, development, administration, governance, and delivery of benefit programs for large companies, including management of from mid to large-sized insurance and retirement plans.
- Bachelor's degree or beyond from an accredited college or university in human resources, finance, tax, or accounting
- CEBS/GBA/SPHR/GPHR certification preferred.
- Experience working in a highly matrixed environment managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines, ability to prioritize conflicting demands.
- Experience in working in an environment with HR Shared Services and partnering with various stakeholders.
- Experience developing benefits communications for changes or enhancements to plans or processes.

Compensation Range: USD $147,000 - $221,000; CAD $112,000 - $168,000
