Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with experience in the MEP/HVAC/Energy Consulting industry. The candidate must have a working knowledge of HVAC systems and be able to execute multiple projects on schedule and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform energy audits, retro-commissioning, and assist with MEP design projects
- Review and perform engineering analysis/energy savings calculations using Microsoft Excel and eQuest energy modeling software
- Analyze utility bills to identify building energy consumption and potential opportunities for reduction
- Perform feasibility, energy savings, and cost-benefit financial analyses for potential energy conservation measures
- Conduct field surveys of existing mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Design mechanical systems for the built environment for various types of projects
- Develop detailed design drawings in AutoCAD MEP and/or Revit
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD MEP. Revit experience a plus
- Professional Engineering License
- Able to travel to job sites independently
- Self-starting nature with ability to see tasks through completion while meeting project budgets and deadlines
