Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Netgains Engineering. As a key member of our project engineering group, you will be responsible for executing multiple projects with the expectation of completing them on schedule and within scope.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform energy audits, retro-commissioning and assist with MEP design projects.
- Review and perform engineering analysis/energy savings calculations utilizing Microsoft Excel and eQuest energy modeling software to produce tangible deliverables.
- Analyze utility bills to identify building energy consumption and potential opportunities for reduction.
- Conduct filed surveys of existing mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems.
- Develop detailed design drawings in Auto CAD MEP and/or Revit.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD MEP. Revit experience a plus.
- Professional Engineering License.
- Ability to travel to job sites independently.
