About the Position
NetGroup Engineering, in partnership with Volvo Group , is seeking a Market & Customer Analyst to join the Strategic Product Planning organization in Greensboro, NC. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a global team at the forefront of guiding Volvo Group’s transformation toward 100% fossil-free solutions by 2040.
As a Market & Customer Analyst, you will contribute to critical decision-making processes by delivering actionable market insights and intelligence. This position is central to understanding customer preferences, behaviors, and industry trends, enabling Volvo Group Trucks Technology to stay ahead of the curve in the evolving heavy-duty truck and automotive markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer surveys and market research activities with a focus on the North American market.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define research objectives and coordinate with external market research suppliers.
- Conduct regular surveys with truck drivers and fleet owners, covering products, technologies, and business strategies.
- Analyze industry trends, evolving technologies, and the competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
- Deliver actionable insights on product performance, customer preferences, and future needs to support product planning.
- Partner with Strategic Product Planners to incorporate market intelligence into long-term product strategies
- Provide research support for other Volvo Group Trucks markets outside of North America.
