Who You Are
You are an experienced Product Development Project Manager with a passion for leading cross-functional teams and delivering high-quality solutions. You thrive in an Agile environment, enjoy tackling complex field quality issues, and have a strong ability to coordinate between product development and aftermarket teams. Your communication and leadership skills empower teams to excel while maintaining a strategic focus on project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to analyze and resolve quality field problems, ensuring alignment with Aftermarket requirements.
- Develop and manage timelines for Aftermarket deliverables, supporting the industrialization process.
- Coordinate between technology product streams and vehicle development teams to ensure seamless Aftermarket integration.
- Approve and document Project/Introblock scope, ensuring Aftermarket readiness.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring work is performed and documented according to plan and scope.
- Ensure that functional testing and validation comply with Aftermarket standards (Product Introduction Validation).
- Provide Aftermarket input on feasibility studies and assess cost impact.
- Oversee key Aftermarket deliverables, including spare parts, service information, special tools, diagnostics, software download (SWDL) capabilities, fault tracing, and maintainability costs for vehicle and powertrain product evolutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 8 years of experience in product development and project management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Experience with Agile/SAFe frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle development and product lifecycle.
- Experience in Aftermarket business and the automotive industry preferred.
