Asphalt/Sealcoating General Labor

Job Overview:

Nether Asphalt Sealing is looking for an asphalt laborer or skilled operator that is interested and experienced in the paving and sealing line of work. We require someone with experience and an understanding of asphalt work. We are looking for someone who is reliable, willing to learn, good at communication, and has pride in their work. Our work mostly entails small to mid size paving and sealing jobs with some other various work such as concrete repair or catch basin work. Our work does not require long distance travel and you will be home everyday. We are not restricted to weekday work only. Our job entails some occasional weekends being worked. We are flexible in our schedule and with proper notification we can accommodate your needs as an employee. Our work is almost entirely outdoors, which means that we rely heavily on weather to do our work. As a result some days are liable to be cancelled due to inclement weather. We offset this by giving some workshop maintenance work and other options to help offset any weather disruptions.

As a laborer, you are expected to do many various, but important, tasks such as shoveling and raking asphalt, cleaning and prepping paving and sealing work areas, and completing paving and sealcoating jobs in a timely manner among other responsibilities. In our line of work safety and alertness are of utmost importance, which means that substance abuse of any kind are not tolerated and will lead to instant termination of work. Other job responsibilities include equipment operation, trucking, and becoming a skilled employee.

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
