Location: Jersey City, NJ
In the Collateral and Custody Group, the Anlyst ensures the accurate documentation and custody of collateral. Their work is operational, focusing on tracking, securing, and maintaining collateral records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Custody Management: Safeguarding documents and assets tied to the collateral (e.g., titles, deeds, or securities certificates).
- Lien Perfection: Ensuring that liens on collateral are properly filed and recorded to protect the lender's interest.
- Loan Processing: Preparing loan agreements and securing necessary documentation related to collateral.
- Ongoing Compliance: Monitoring borrower compliance with loan terms tied to the collateral (e.g., insurance maintenance).
- Communication: Coordinating with borrowers, legal teams, and other stakeholders to resolve collateral-related issues.
Specialized Skills:
- Familiarity with loan management systems and collateral custody platforms.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for custody and lien management.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing sensitive documents
