Purpose of Position

Responsible for development and revision of FAA and / or company documents essential to the safety and regulatory compliance of the organization.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain FAA and / or company manuals including but not limited to, Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL), Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Programs (CAMP), or other documents required for the safety and regulatory compliance of the organization.
  • Administration of internal document management solution Comply365 to efficiently and effectively disseminate information to users.
  • Development, distribution, and auditing of FAA required Passenger Briefing Cards.
  • Represent the organization as the liaison to the assigned Cincinnati FSDO Inspectors.

Education

Bachelor's in English or Aviation

Years of Experience

2-4 years of experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)

  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous experience with Comply365 preferred, not required.
  • Knowledge of aviation regulatory, advisory, and reference materials.
  • Previous technical writing experience.
  • FAA Airmen Certificate(s) - (preferred, not required).
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) - (preferred, not required).
