The Manufacturing Production Supervisor is a central figure in the production environment, tasked with the management and guidance of production workers to meet set goals and uphold quality standards. Responsible for the coordination of various manufacturing and warehouse functions within a large, complex, and fast paced food production facility to drive maximum financial results and deliver a quality on-time product for customers.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop, monitor, and ensure timely completion of plant goals/action plans, both short and long term.
Utilize new technology and lean manufacturing principals and processes available to maximize efficiency.
Promote development of cost saving initiatives.
This role involves scheduling, task assignment, efficiency monitoring, and troubleshooting. Develop a work environment within food manufacturing that promotes trust, teamwork quality and safety.

and a meticulous eye for detail.
Leadership is exercised through team motivation and direction, while communication skills aid in instruction delivery and feedback provision, cultivating teamwork.

The Manufacturing Supervisor's overarching responsibility is to boost productivity, maintain operational efficiency, and ensure seamless manufacturing activities.
Ensure production of a quality product in compliance with Safeway, Federal and State guidelines Ensure regulatory compliance as appropriate (OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, Etc.).
Minimum Qualifications: 2 or more years of leadership experience in a production environment.
1 of more years' experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles.
Ability to manage and develop employees.
Availability - willingness to work hours and holidays.
Strong skills Working knowledge of MS applications including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, - PowerPoint and ability to grasp additional business-related applications.
Candidates will interview on site at Bellevue Plant. Interview will also include tour of facility.
