Job Title: Business Analyst (Jr.)
Location: Austin, TX (onsite)
Job Duration: 12 m Contract with potential for conversion
Primary Skills:
- Experience with balancing daily tactical tasks with development of data dashboards (import/export and merging).
- Experience analytics tools like advanced Excel, SQL, and Power BI
- High energy, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
Responsibilities:
- Approximately 40% of the role involves technical dashboard development.
- 60% of the role focuses on tactical deliverables, including:
- Cost center management.
- Labor actuals tracking.
- Space planning.
- Program spend comparisons.
- Budget attainment.
- Additional responsibilities include:
- Streamlining processes and managing data efficiently.
- Proficiency with data mining, blending, and visualization to manage data files (import/export and merging).
- Structuring and executing complex analyses, drawing insights, and communicating findings and recommendations
Job Description:
- Junior business analyst working on the Engineering Operations team.
- This team focuses on program budgets, headcount and materials management, and space planning.
- Responsible for developing corporate business tracking and analytics tools using advanced Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
- The ideal candidate should have at least minimal programming experience with a strong interest in learning more
Qualification:
- B.S. in Business, a quantitative field, or Computer Science, or commensurate experience.
