Title : Datacenter Technician (Jr.)
Location: Dallas ,Tx
Duration: 12 Months
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Technician responsible for the deployment of NPI engineering projects involving client IP (Silicon, HW, SW) and debug of Client server hardware infrastructure. Would also assist with inventory.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide engineering expertise to technical teams spanning multiple disciplines and geographies
• Engage with internal stakeholders in product planning, development, and validation activities
• Deploy and maintain NPI server products while partnering with other engineers and contractors
• Track and report status vs. objectives throughout the lifecycle of the program
REQUIREMENTS:
• Good communication skills, both written and oral
• High attention to detail and good follow through in a fast pace environment
• Experience in areas of data center system deployment, software deployment, and validation
• Experience with asset management experience
• Familiarity with testing tools, methodologies, and defect tracking
• Ability to function independently with little direct supervision
• Physical Requirements – Candidate needs to be able to lift 50lbs and be flexible enough to get under a raised floor as needed
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
• 0 - 2 years’ experience in high tech industry
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience
• Skilled in MS Office tool suites, Confluence, MS SharePoint
Salary : $25 - $30
