Minimum Requirements :
Experienced with data center tasks.
Familiar with server components : CPU, DIMM, HDD, SSD, NIC.
Be able to lift and carry packages / computers up to 50 pounds.
Walk or stand for extended periods of time during work hours.
Bend, reach, lift, carry, climb datacenter ladder as necessary to perform assigned duties.
Work effectively as part of a team.
Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload and meet strict deadlines.
Have a valid California driver license and a car to travel and pick up / drop off materials between office sites and datacenter in San Jose and Santa Clara.
Responsibilities :
- Shipping, receiving, and handling compute servers and components.
- Rack and stack and run network cables for compute servers.
- Build and configure compute servers from loose components, and update OS and firmware.
- Run automated tests, capture log files, and troubleshoot errors.
- Perform various datacenter, networking, and inventory tasks.
- Respond to internal customer requests via an online ticketing system and resolve issues on a timely manner.
