Work Location: 660 Plaza Drive, Detroit, MI 48226-1203 (Hybrid 2 day remote 3 days onsite)
Top Skills:
- Project Management in Experience with Emergency Operations Plans (EOP), Site Emergency Response Plans (SERPs), and Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
- Experience in tracking due dates, deliverables, and escalating issues when appropriate to ensure the timely completion of tasks.
- Proficiency in Excel or other data management tools for organizing and reporting emergency planning details and status.
- Business Continuity knowledge/experience
- Everbridge systems knowledge/experience
Description:
- Work with Emergency Plan owners to ensure corporate standards are met for various types of response plans that are based in Incident Command System principles.
- Assist emergency plan owners in completing or updating emergency plans (project management – tracking due dates, deliverables, escalating when appropriate)
- Conducting ICS training, emergency management overview, and assisting in site preparedness
- Assist site/plan owners in planning and executing exercises
- Assist in administrative level tasks within us within Everbridge (our emergency notification system).
For some facilities:
- to Maintain current list of Life Safety Teams
- Ensure full staffing of life safety teams, and train them on procedures for evacuation, shelter-in-place, etc. (rolling need)
- Work with Disability Case Management and/or self-identification process to ensure accuracy of list of all persons who need assistance during evacuation
- Coordinate and execute drill for facility, including interfacing with Detroit Fire Department
- Knowledge of emergency planning, Incident Command System, and fire systems
