1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Job Summary – (Role Summary)
Robotics, a leader in home robotics innovation, is seeking a Senior Ecommerce Manager to scale our Amazon retail business in the US. This role will focus on driving growth through strategic collaboration with Amazon’s Vendor Services (AVS) team, in-stock managers, and cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Amazon Retail operations, vendor management, and inventory optimization, with a preference for prior experience as an AVS Manager or within Amazon’s Retail team.
2) Job Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Growth
• Develop and execute joint business plans (JBPs) with Amazon’s AVS team to align on revenue targets, marketing initiatives, and inventory strategies.
• Analyze sales performance, customer trends, and competitive insights to identify growth opportunities (e.g., pricing, promotions, SEO) and address gaps.
2. Vendor & Inventory Management
• Partner with in-stock managers to ensure optimal inventory levels, reduce stockouts, and improve forecast accuracy.
• Oversee account health, including product listings, content optimization, and compliance with Amazon’s guidelines.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams (Amazon operation team, marketing, supply chain, finance) and Amazon’s AVS team to resolve operational issues and drive process improvements.
• Advocate for vendor needs internally while balancing Amazon’s operational requirements and policies.
4. Data-Driven Decision-Making
• Utilize tools like Excel and Amazon Retail Analytics to generate actionable reports on sales performance, customer behavior, and campaign ROI.
• Present data-backed recommendations to senior leadership and Amazon stakeholders.
5. Operational Excellence
• Monitor and enhance key metrics such as Order Defect Rate (ODR), Buy Box percentage, and advertising efficiency.
• Manage Amazon-specific programs (e.g., Vine, A Content) and advertising campaigns (Sponsored Products, DSP).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in e-commerce field
• 5 years in ecommerce or retail, with 3 years focused on Amazon Vendor/Central platforms.
• Prior experience as an AVS Manager or within Amazon’s Retail team is strongly preferred.
• Experience in Consumer Electronics, or Home Robotics is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Amazon’s tools (Vendor Central, Retail Analytics) and Excel
• Strong negotiation, communication, and project management abilities.
• Expertise in inventory forecasting, P&L management, and vendor relationship building.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus
