Who We Need
To support our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join the growing accounting function of a multi-entity data center portfolio. Areas of focus include GAAP consolidation, technical accounting research, debt compliance reporting, and taxes. The ideal candidate will be a success-driven team player who can successfully partner with various other accounting and business stakeholders in the production of timely and accurate financial statements, reports and analyses.

Description of Responsibilities
Prepare the monthly GAAP consolidation and financial statements.Oversee the monthly close for various corporate entities including reviewing account reconciliations and preparing actual vs. budget variance analysisResearch and document complex technical GAAP issues including but not limited to revenue recognition, business combinations and financing transactionsManage debt compliance activities on multiple outstanding debt facilitiesManage federal, state, and local tax compliance process for large number of legal entitiesManage quarterly REIT compliance activities for several entities.Assist in the preparation of annual budgetsProvide ad-hoc analytical support on projects as needed.Maintain, monitor and enhance company-wide internal control policies and procedures.Assist with requests from external auditorsBe an effective collaborator with the VP, Controller and other team members in support of department objectivesOther responsibilities as assignedPosition Requirements and Desired Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA license requiredMinimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience including experience in both (1) a Big Four or national accounting firm; and (2) a large and growing real estate environment. Data center or commercial real estate experience strongly preferredDemonstrated strong technical GAAP skills including analysis of potential transactions, presentation and documentation of conclusionsStrong analytical, strategic critical thinking, problem solving and organizational skillsExcellent communicator, confidently articulating complex analysis and solutionsDetail-oriented problem solver, working towards meaningful solutionsExperience working independently as well as collaboratively; effectively managing priorities while meeting tight deadlinesAbility to work cross-functionally with easeProficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skillsExperience with MRI accounting software preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated, initiative takerHighest ethical and professional conduct and integrityAdhere to all guidelines and expectations set forth in company's corporate handbookPI261061257
